Paint Your Own Rainbow

What does it mean to
Paint Your Own Rainbow?

It means that you....
reach for your goals; that you are independent; a free thinker; above peer pressure.

This is a bulletin board that I did this year.  I started the year by talking about goals and dreams.  Trying to encourage kids to reach for their dreams each student wrote one goal/dream on the back of a butterfly and then colored the other side. The butterfly was to be anonymous.  I hung the butterflies up on the bulletin board and told the kids to think about their goal or dream every time they walked by the bulletin board.

  1. Hi Jaime!

While searching for great bulletin board designs for St. Patrick's Day, we stumbled across your blog and would love to feature your board on our site, Bulletin Board Ideas! Many blogs/sites have allowed us to feature their idea along with a picture in exchange for a link and proper credit. We were wondering if you might allow us to do the same!

Here's a link to our blog, so you can see some of the other features we've written:

Hope to hear from you soon! So glad we stumbled across your blog - can't wait to check out the rest of your site!

    Thanks so much,
    Kayla

I apologize for the delayed response ~ things have been a bit crazy and it completely slipped my mind to check back.

  7. Hi DeAnne,
The page in the corner of the bulletin board says:

    It means that you....
reach for your goals; that you are independent; a free thinker; above peer pressure.

I do not think I have the word file anymore otherwise I would send it to you. I hope this helps.

    Best,
    Jaime
